BMW’s first “Neue Klasse” model is no longer a preview-only story. The 2027 BMW iX3 50 xDrive has officially gone on sale in the United States, with deliveries beginning in late September 2026, according to a BMW USA press release. What’s new on the Neue Klasse iX3
BMW priced the US-spec iX3 from $61,500 before a $1,350 destination charge, positioning it against the Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV and Audi Q6 e-tron rather than cheaper mainstream crossovers. In exchange, BMW says buyers get an EPA-estimated range of up to 434 miles on a full charge — a substantial jump over the outgoing iX3’s real-world figures — built around a new 800-volt electrical architecture that supports DC fast charging at up to 400 kW.
Under the skin, the iX3 pairs two electric motors for standard all-wheel drive, with a combined output BMW quotes at 463 hp and 476 lb-ft of torque.
