Kia EV3 Reaches US Dealers From $29,890, With $1,500 Cash Back

Kia’s smallest electric SUV in the US is now at dealerships, and the brand is already attaching incentives to it. As of early October 2026, the 2027 Kia EV3 starts at $29,890 before a $1,495 destination fee, and Kia is offering $1,500 in customer cash on every trim, according to Electrek’s reporting on the offers.

What the EV3 costs in the US

Kia America lists five trim levels, from the base Light up to the GT. Prices below exclude the destination fee, and the range figures are the ones reported alongside the pricing.

  • Light FWD: $29,890, 221 miles
  • Wind FWD: $34,990, 321 miles
  • Land FWD: $38,490, 321 miles
  • Wind AWD: $38,690, 280 miles
  • Land AWD: $41,690, 280 miles
  • GT-Line AWD: $43,490, 280 miles
  • GT AWD: $45,890, 280 miles

Choosing front-wheel drive buys the longest range here: the FWD Wind and Land trims quote 321 miles, about 40 miles more than their all-wheel-drive siblings.

The incentives

Electrek reports that EV3 buyers can take either $1,500 in customer cash or 0.90% APR financing for 48 months. A commenter on that story pointed out these are alternatives rather than stackable offers, so it’s worth confirming with a dealer. On the lease side, the EV3 Wind FWD is advertised from $349 a month over 24 months with $3,999 due at signing, and the Wind AWD from $399 a month on the same terms.

The EV3 isn’t the only Kia on promotion. Electrek says the EV9 and Niro EV carry up to $10,000 in customer cash, and the EV6 up to $5,000. Kia’s current offers are reported to run through November 2, 2026 and can vary by state.

Why it matters for US shoppers

The US EV market has cooled this year. Electrek puts EV share at roughly 6–7% in 2026, down from over 10% in 2025, after federal tax credits ended. In that environment, a sub-$30,000 sticker price plus manufacturer cash is Kia’s route to attracting buyers who would otherwise stay with gasoline or hybrids. Kia reportedly sold just over 500 EV3s in its first full month, so volumes are still small, and the low-priced Light trim’s 221-mile range is the trade-off buyers need to weigh against the longer-range Wind.
