Changan opened China pre-orders for the Qiyuan Q06 — sold overseas in some write-ups as the Nevo Q06 — at its SDA Pilot Technology Conference on 4 September. CarNewsChina published the price ladder the next day; SPEEDME repeated the same yuan figures on 6 September. An early-order sticker starts at 147,900 yuan. The ordinary pre-sale spread runs from 149,900 to 191,900 yuan. That is a China booking window, not a United Kingdom or UAE list price, and it is not a car you will find under a Q06 slug on this site.
The battery-electric versions are the story. Both outlets describe an 800-volt silicon-carbide architecture and 6C charging that Changan says takes the pack from 30 to 80 percent in nine minutes. Maximum range is 700 km on the CLTC cycle — a China laboratory figure, not WLTP or EPA. Single-motor outputs of 225 kW and 245 kW, plus a dual-motor 330 kW layout that CarNewsChina times at 4.8 seconds to 100 km/h, appear in both reports. SPEEDME converts 330 kW to “about 449 hp”; CarNewsChina uses 443 hp. We are keeping the kilowatt number and not treating either horsepower conversion as a second spec sheet.
Pack size is a CarNewsChina-only table: four lithium iron-phosphate batteries at 63.18, 66.02, 72.54, and 80.02 kWh, credited to CALB or CATL. SPEEDME does not repeat those kilowatt-hours, so they stay labelled as one outlet’s list. The two sources do agree on the body: 4,837 mm long, 1,970 mm wide, 1,670 mm tall, on a 2,940 mm wheelbase — a mid-size SUV, not a hatchback.
GetEVCar’s live Changan-group coverage sits on the Deepal hub, not a Qiyuan or Nevo brand. UK retail copy already uses “Changan Deepal.” The car a UK shopper can actually open today is the Deepal S05 (2026) — 68 kWh, 488 km, 200 kW, 200 kW DC, United Kingdom Available — and the dual-motor S05 AWD (68 kWh, 447 km, 320 kW), also UK Available. Those are battery-electric compact SUVs. They are not the Q06, they are not 700 km CLTC cars, and we are not inventing a Q06 page because China pre-sales have started.
UAE readers who want a Deepal already on a dealer row start with the S07 EV (2025) — 79.97 kWh, 475 km, 160 kW, United Arab Emirates Available. The SL03 sedan is UAE Announced (56.1 kWh, 530 km, 190 kW), not a confirmed showroom car. A Dubai service listing exists at Changan Auto Dubai; that is a workshop pin, not evidence that the Q06 is homologated for the Emirates.
Two Q06 trims on CarNewsChina’s table are labelled range-extender, with a combined range claim of up to 1,600 km that SPEEDME repeats. That is not a battery-electric car, and the sources do not call it a plug-in hybrid. We are not filing it on the PHEV list or under /car. The live Deepal plug-in that belongs on this site is the S05 PHEV (2026) — 18.4 kWh, 100 km electric, 11 kW AC / 55 kW DC, 190 kW combined, 999 km total, United Kingdom Announced. It plugs in. It is not the China Q06 range-extender, and it is not a BEV.
SPEEDME, citing Changan Qiyuan, says 11,079 orders landed in the first two hours, with 53 percent choosing Tianshu Pilot Ultra and more than 30 percent the dual-motor layout. Those are manufacturer booking numbers, not registrations. Computing claims for the Ultra driver-assist stack also disagree — SPEEDME’s 560 TOPS versus CarNewsChina’s “500+ TOPS” — so we are not treating either figure as confirmed hardware.
Elsewhere on the plug-in side, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines priced the Outlander PHEV at ₱2,848,000, with an introductory ₱2,749,000 for reservations through 30 September (Speed.ph, 3 September; CleanTechnica, 4 September). That is a Philippine sticker, not a GetEVCar market. Shoppers who want the same nameplate in our coverage stay on the Outlander Plug-in Hybrid (2026) — United States and United Kingdom Available, 22.7 kWh, 85 km electric, 220 kW, 805 km combined. Australia’s Geely Starray EM-i AWD and Jaecoo J7 PHEV AWD stays logged; neither is a UAE, US, or UK page.
What we are not claiming: that the Q06 is on sale in the UK or UAE, that 700 km is a WLTP range, that the range-extender is a PHEV, that 11,079 bookings are deliveries, or that Deepal S05 and Qiyuan Q06 share a catalogue slug. Official China sales pricing can still move when deliveries start later this month.
